Freshmen Orientation Camp 2009

9th - 11th June 2009

This 3-day-2-night fun-packed camp brings together all 3 ministries (i.e. English, Chinese, Indonesian) in the SP campus of the Poly Christian Fellowship (PCF).

The theme of the camp is Treasuring Christ Together.

There were 2 night sessions of sermons from Pastor Edmund Chua who shared with us on leading a Christ-centred life as well as obedience to Jesus Christ. He especially mentioned that we are the Salt of the earth and Light of the world. FAITH to the God is about For seeking All I Trust in Him.

We had wet games, ice-breaking games, as well as Angel & Mortal game. There was a 2-hour testimonial session whereby anyone could stand forth to give their own testimonies of how God miraculously change our lives. Throughout the entire camp, we gave praise to the Lord with many English, Chinese and Indonesian songs.

All in all, the camp was very fun and enjoyable. We met many new friends and exchanged contacts with one another. Towards the end of the camp, we were each given a camp tee with the words Christ Is Alive printed on the front.
